Diane Rubino Davies
A native of Philadelphia, Diane studied Fashion Design at Moore College of Art & Design. After moving to New York City, she began a career in graphic design and art direction and worked at several national publications, including Good Housekeeping, American Baby, Mode and Seventeen. Her interest in photography initially began while art directing photo shoots, working with some of the top photographers in the country.
Her experience at American Baby Magazine gave her unique training assisting in all aspects of the shoot, from location to clothing selection, prop styling, and image selection, and during her time at Good Housekeeping, she was responsible for the art direction and design of the food pages.
After having children of her own and moving to Boston, she studied photography privately and was soon contributing regularly to Patch.com and the Winchester Star. Her food photographs have appeared in Boston.com and BostonMagazine.com. Her list of clients include: Parsons Table Restaurant, Bergamot Restaurant, Winchester Hospital, Suffolk University Law Alumni Magazine, Miles in Heels Productions, & The Energized Body.
She has participated in & exhibited fine art photographs for Photography Atelier at the Griffin Museum of Photography in 2012 & 2013.
She is currently a freelance photojournalist for the Winchester Star in Massachusetts.
